Vivian won that duel, but Molly Huddle lost hers, having to concede the bronze medal

to fellow American Emily Infield.

The following year at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games Vivian finally won her

first Olympic Gold medal winning, the women's 5,000 metres final.

 

She had, of course, already won four gold medals at three World Championships

including the one above.
