Djabir (14) is pictured above during the mens 800m final at the 2005 World Championships in Helsinki.
Said-Guerni was unable to replicate his achievement of two years earlier in Paris when he took the title
and had to settle for a fifth place finish in a time of 1: 45.31. The medals went, in order, to
Rashid Ramzi (113), Yuriy Borzakovskiy (803) and William Yiampoy (573). The other athlete in shot
is Kenya's Wilfred Bungei who finished fourth. The inset picture shows Djabir during the heats.
