The left hand photo above shows Nabil in his first few strides of the
final of the mens 800m at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. The right
hand photo shows Madi in amongst the pack with the Kenyans Wilfred
Bungei (2246) and Alfred Kirwa Yego (2251) leading the way. They went on
to win gold and bronze respectively, with Sudan's Ismail Ahmed Ismail
(far right of picture) taking the silver. Madi finished in a creditable
7th place in what was his first final at a major championship. |

in Heusden-Zolder. In the 1500 metres his P.B. was 3:34.74
