Chris Brown is pictured above during the heats of the men's 400m at the
2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. Brown unluckily missed out on a medal in
the final, David Neville of the USA pipping him to bronze by 4
hundredths of a second, but fared better in the 4x400m where he teamed
up with Andretti Bain, Michael Mathieu and Andrae Williams to win the
silver medal for the Bahamas.

The main photo above shows Christopher during the heats of the men's
400m at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka. In the final itself,
Brown turned in a terrific performance to finish in 4th place in a new
national record time of 44.45 secs. The inset picture shows the closing
few metres of the final, with Chris on the far left.
The medals went, in
order, to the American trio of Jeremy Wariner, LaShawn Merritt and
Angelo Taylor and the photo shows them in their respective finishing
positions. Brown then teamed up with Avard Moncur, Michael Mathieu and
Andrae Williams to win silver for the Bahamas in the 4x400m relay. It
was the third time that Chris had won a 4x400m silver medal at the
Worlds, having also placed second in 2001 and 2005. Photo August 28th. 2007 © G. Herringshaw.
