Like at the 2018 European Championships, Maryna had to accept second place behind
Germany's Malaika Mihambo. But on this occasion she was a distant second best.
However as she had in Berlin, Maryna produced a season best when it most mattered.
Trailing Ese Brume for three rounds she produced her 6.92 with her penultimate attempt
(No jumper passed 7.00m in qualifying.)
2019 World Athletics Championships. Doha, Qatar.
