Kim GEVAERT - Belgium - 4x100m bronze at the 2007 World Championships.

The main photo above shows the finish of the womens 4x100m at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka. A delighted Kim (lane 6) can be seen crossing the line, fists clenched in celebration, to win bronze for Belgium in a new national record time of 42.75 secs. The inset picture shows Gevaert celebrating with her team mates Olivia Borlee, Hanna Mariën and Elodie Ouédraogo shortly after the race. The USA (lane 4, anchored by Torri Edwards) and Jamaica (lane 7, Veronica Campbell) won gold and silver respectively.

Kim Gevaert is pictured above during the heats of the womens 100m at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka. Gevaert, the 2006 European 100m champion, finished in 5th place in the final in a time of 11.05 secs.
