crossing the line, fists clenched in celebration, to win bronze for
Belgium in a new national record time of 42.75 secs. The inset picture

Mariën and Elodie Ouédraogo shortly after the race. The USA (lane 4,
anchored by Torri Edwards) and Jamaica (lane 7, Veronica Campbell) won
