Darlan Romani in the final of the men's shot. His second put of 22.53m held the
silver medal place until the 4th. round but then the 75 feet men (22.90m) took
charge.
In June 2019, at the Eugene Diamond League meet, Darlan achieved the 10th. best mark
in the history in the Shot Put, 22.61m. He broke the South American record three times
in the same event (22.46m, 22.55m and 22.61m).
