Daniela Yordanova pictured above in full flow during the heats of the women's 1500m
at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka. She went on to qualify for the final,
finishing in 4th place in a seasons best time of 4.00.82.
She tested positive for testosterone in an out-of-competition doping test in Sofia
on 13 June 2008. She was banned for two years. Earlier that year she had won the
1,500m bronze medal at the World Indoor Championship in Valencia.
