With defending champion Muktar Edris clear of the pack, Mohammed Ahmed
leads the other runners as they pass The Bell, with 400m to run. Somalian
born Mohammed won a medal with his efforts, the bronze, but could not dip
under 13 minutes and perhaps improve his then P.B. of 12.58.16 set earlier
in the year.
