The race action photo above shows the closing few metres of the women's
100m Hurdles final at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. Priscilla (2nd
from left) won the bronze medal in a time of 12.64 secs, with the silver
medal going to Australia's Sally McLellan (two from right), who was
deemed to be ahead of Lopes-Schliep despite clocking the identical time.
In what was an incredibly tight finish for places 2-6, Damu Cherry
(third from the left) finished in 4th place in a time of 12.65 sec,
Delloreen Ennis-London (four from right) 5th in the same time and
Brigitte Foster-Hylton (far left) was placed 6th in 12.66. Dawn Harper
of the USA (four from left) comfortably won the gold in a time of 12.54
secs, although it may well have all been different had Lolo Jones (lane
4) not clipped the penultimate hurdle when seemingly set for glory.
