Chunxiu is pictured above during the closing few metres of the women's
Marathon at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka. She produced an
excellent performance to win silver - her first medal at a major
championship - in a time of 2.30.45. That was just 8 seconds back on the
gold medallist, Kenya's Catherine Ndereba, with Japan's Reiko Tosa
