Gudaf TSEGAY - Ethiopia - 2023 World 10,000m champion.

Gidaf Tsegay passes the falling Sifan Hassan to win the 10,000m in Budapest.

Hassan was the Olympic Champion for the event.

On 17th September 2023 Tsegay set a new World Record for the 5,000 metres

of 14:00.21 seconds, beating Faith Kipygon's previous record of 14:05.20,

which was set earlier in the year.
