In the slowest time he had recorded at a World Championship
(it was rather hot in Beijing) Yemane won the silver medal
in 2015. At the time his best marathon was
2:04:48, when winning the Rotterdam marathon in 2012.
He also won marathons in Eindhoven, Gyeongju, Macau,
Taipei and Ottawa.
