Olli-Pekka is pictured above during the final of the men's Hammer at the 2006
European Championships in Gothenburg. He won the silver medal with a seasons
best throw of 80.84m, his first medal at a major championship.
The Belarussians Ivan Tikhon and Vadim Devyatovski won the
gold and bronze medals respectively.
His personal best throw was 83.30, achieved in July 2004 in Lahti.
