Kevin Mayer won his second World Championship when he took the gold medal
in the men's heptathlon at the 2018 World Indoor Championships in Birmingham.
He won by just 5 points: Damian if only he could have...but did not.
In September 2018 he broke Ashton Eaton's 2015 World Record with a new points total of 9,126 points,
in Talence (a suburd of Bordeaux).
