Quentin BIGOT - France - Hammer siver medal 2019 World Championships.

In July 2014 Quentin Bigot was suspended for 4 years (2 on probation) for doping-

the year during he set his personal best of 78.58m. He came very close to that

record in Doha with his fifth throw. His second throw in the final was also over 78 metres

 

Every finalist was introduced through the door, with a background

of their National colours.

***  Wojciech Nowicki was awarded a bronze medal following

        irregularities in the conduct of the competition which disadvantaged the

        Polish athlete. The opening throw by Bence Halász was perhaps invalid - his only

        other valid throw was 73.76.  So two medals for Poland. Nice.
