Like four of the other finalist Otto Bjorn cleared 5.82m in the men's pole vault but he
won the bronze medal because he had fewer failures en route (one at 5.75m) than either
Brad Walker or Malte Mohr. Champion Raphael Holzdeppe won his gold medal on the same ruling.
A 6.01m vaulter at the time (PB set in 2012) Bjorn the year before was the Olympic silver medalist.
2013 world pole vault championship in Moscow.
