Margaret is pictured above (left of photo) during the 100m Hurdles in the Heptathlon at
the 2005 World Championships in Helsinki. The other athletes in shot are, from left to right,
Carolina Kluft, Kelly Sotherton and Eunice Barber. Simpson - who recorded PBs in the
Shot Put, Javelin and 800m - won the bronze medal with a total of 6375 points, just 15 points
ahead of Lithuania's Austra Skujyte. Kluft won the gold, Barber the silver with
Sotherton finishing in fifth place.
Margaret won the African Heptathon Championships in 2002, 2004, 2007, 2010, 2011.
And in 2012 the javelin throw at the Champs.
