Adam Gemili running in his semi-final of the men's 200 metres. He won with
a season best time of 20.03 seconds, defeating the defending champion Ramil Guliyev (inset).
Alas, for Adam that was as fast as he could run, clocking the same time in the final to finish 4th.
A consolation came several days later when he won a silver medal in the men's 4x100m
relay setting a new European record of 37.36. However, two years before it was the
gold medal in the 4x100m relay.
