Ten years after she won her first individual gold medal, at an International championship
(2006 Commonwealth Games) Christine Ijeoma Ohuruogu was still reaching major finals.
But her medal winning days in events, other than relays, were becoming fewer.
This was evident when she could "only" finish fourth in the women's 400 metres final
at the 2016 Euroepan Championships in Amsterdam. A 52.69 in her heat followed by a season
best of 51.35 in her semi final suggested otherwise. But as the results below indicate she was
not even the top British finsher in the final and did not run the relay for G.B (who won the Gold
without her).
