Lindsey Sharp during the final of the women's 800 metres at the 2017 World Championships
where she finished 8th - two positions lower than her 2016 Olympic Games result. She nearly
failed to reach the final after being disqualified following her semi-final - a tangle of arms
with Charlene Lipsey in the final strides was considered a foul, but she was reinstated later the
same evening.
