Matthew Hudson-Smith battles with Quincy Hall as they race to the finish line
of the men's 400 metres final at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Despite
improving his 2024 European 400m record of 43.74, set at the London Olympic
Stadium a month earlier, he had to accept the siver medal, as he had at the
2023 World Championship in Budapest - behind Antonio Watson (Hall won the bronze).
Matthew later won a bronze medal in the men's 4x400m relay on the last day
of the Games.
