A delighted Paula is pictured above crossing the line to win the
Marathon Gold at the 2005 World Championships in Helsinki in a new
championship record time of 2:20.57. The inset pictures show Radcliffe,
sporting a Union Jack umbrella, enjoying the moments shortly after her
victory. Paula's gold was the first time she had captured a 'global'
title and her time of 2:20.57 was a new championship record.
