Richard Buck is pictured above leading another Richard (Strachan) during the final
of the 400 metres of the European Indoor Championships in Paris.
In July 2015 Buck announced that he was retiring from athletics to pursue a career as an actor,
after accepting a place on a master's degree course at Birmingham School of Acting.
Richard has BSc and MSc degrees in Sports Coaching From Leeds Beckett University and
Loughborough University.
By 2020 he had over 14 film credits to his name. He wrote and directed the award nominated
documentary "My Way of Winning" which feature the British record holder, Asha Philip.
