Desiree is seen above during her semi final of the women's 100m in Zurich at the
2014 European Athletics Championship. She finished 7th. in the final having set
a new personal best of 11.16 in the semi final.
On the last day of the Championships she anchored the Great Britain team to a gold medal in the
women's 4 x 100m relay in a new British record time of 42.24 seconds.
On 28th August, again in Zurich, they repeated the feat with another UK record of 42.21.
