Germaine MASON - Great Britain & N.I. - 2008 Olympics High Jump silver medal.

during the final of the men's High Jump at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.

It was a outstanding performance by Mason, whose PB equaling leap of 2.34m won

him the silver medal on the countback rule ahead of Russia's Yaroslav Rybakov.


Germaine died in a motor bike accident on 20 April 2017 at the age of 34.
Upon returning from a soca party he was riding his motorcycle when he crashed.
