In 2016 after two teams were disqualified for drugs (Russia and Belarus) GB was awarded

the 2008 Olympic Games 4x400 metres bronze medal. The GB quartet was Christine Ohuruogu, Kelly Sotherton,

She ran the 2nd leg for Great Britain in their bronze medal winning team, with Nicola Sanders pipping

Russia's Natalya Antyukh to the bronze medal by just 1 hundredth of a second.
