The main picture above show Mo Farah crossing the finishing line to win the 5,000 metres.
It was his second medal at the Championships following his second place in the longer 10,000
metres seven days earlier. He became the first British athlete to win the 5,000 title.

In September Mo was voted European Male Athlete of The Year for 2011
by the European Athletics Association.

The photos show Mo Farah leading the field at "The Bell" and then just losing at the finish some 400 metres later.
The inset shows Mo perhaps wondering how he might have won with different tactics.
