Perri is pictured during her heat of the women's 400m hurdles at the 2013 World Championships
in Moscow where she finished 7th. in the final. She tore the posterior cruciate ligament and cartilage
in her left knee in that final, an injury that forced Shakes-Drayton to switch events
upon her return to athletics in 2014 and to run the 400m flat. On 26th. July 2013 she had set a new
personal best of 53.67 for the 400m hurdles.
