The inset photo above shows a delighted Hrysopiyi Devetzi celebrating after
she had won the bronze medal in the womens Triple Jump at the 2008 Olympic Games
in Beijing. Devetzi, a silver medallist at the 2004 Olympics in her homeland, leapt a season's
best 15.23m in the second round and remained in the medal positions for the rest of the competition.
The action photo above is also during the final.
In November 2016 following another examination of her 'sample' from The Games
she was removed from the result. Traces of banned drugs were found to have been used.
Chrysopigi Devetzi is another spelling of her name.
