The pictures above show Attila during various disciplines of the Decathlon at the
2006 European Championships in Gothenburg. Zsivoczky won the silver medal with
a total of 8356 points, pipping Aleksey Drozdov by just 6 points thanks to his superior
performance in the final event, the 1500m, which earned him 754 points compared
to Drozdov's 725. Roman Sebrle, of the Czech Republic, won the gold.
His father Gyula Zsivótzky (1937-2007) was the 1968 Olympic Games hammer champion,
and twice broke the World Record.
