Zoltán KÅ‘vágópictured in Athens during the 2004 Olympic Games when he
won the silver medal. He initially won the bronze medal, but was promoted to silver when
fellow countryman Róbert Fazekas was disqualified following a doping rule violation.
His personal best throw was 69.95m set in May 2006 at Salon-de-Provence.
He was the World Junior Champion in 1998.
** He was banned for evading doping testing.
The ban lasted from 11 August 2011 to 5 July 2014.
