Wayne PINNOCK - Jamaica - Long jump silver medal at 2024 Paris Olympic Games

Wayne Pinnock competing in the final of the men's long jump in Paris.

Having finished second in 2023 at the World Championship, behind

Miltiadia Tentoglou, he was probably expecting no better than second place.

None the less he was hard pressed by nineteen year old Mattia Furlani who

had set a World under 20 record in Rome a few weeks earlier with 8.38m
