Beatrice Chebet crosses the finish line to win her second gold medal at
the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, having won the 5,000m final four days
earlier.
On 5th July 2025 in Eugene, Oregene, U,S.A. Beatrice Chebet became the
first women in history to run 5,000m in under 14 minutes, when she ran
a world record beating time of 13:58.06 for the distance.
