Hellen OBIRI - Kenya - Twice winner of World Championships 5,000m

Hellen Obiri leading the field in the final of the women's 5,000m in Doha. The 2017 champion

retained her title with a new Championship record of 14:26.72. She controlled the race from

the front but has to battle with team mate Margaret Chelimo Kipkemboi, seen just behind her

in the photo above. Of the fifteen runners, eleven set personal best time for the distance.
