The photo above shows the closing few metres of the men's 1,500m final at the
2007 World Championships in Osaka. Shedrack (773) won the bronze medal in a
time of 3.35.04, with Bernard Lagat (1113) taking gold and
Rashid Ramzi (408, partially obscured by Lagat) the silver.
It was the first medal that the 28 year old Korir had won at a major championship.
