Silas Kiplagat pictured above during his heat of the men's 1,500 metres in Russia,
which he won in 3:39.31. He finished second in a slow semi final 3:43.52 and saved his best
time for the Final. In 2011 he took the silver medal in the event in Daegu, South Korea.
