William YIAMPOY - Kenya - 2005 World Championship 800m bronze medal.

William is pictured above (573) sprinting for the line in the final of the men's 800m

at the 2005 World Championships in Helsinki. He finished third in a time of 1: 44.55

, just pipping compatriot William Bungei to the bronze medal. Rashid Ramzi (113)

and Yuriy Borzakovskiy (803) won gold and silver respectively.

Djabir Said-Guerni (14), who finished fifth, is the other athlete in shot.
