Had Edgar Rivera not taken three attempts to clear 2.29m in the men's final, he would have
shared the bronze medal with Majededdin Ghazal (who took two attempts).
2.29m was Edgar's best outdoor - first cleared in 2016 - but he had got over 2.30m indoors
in Brno in February 2016. Edgar also qualified for the final with 2.29m !
