Pieter Braun threw a season best in the shot 15.26m (5th best of the day)and a SB
in the high jump (hence the main image celebration) 2.02m but a weak
100m 11.16 (19th best) in the first event proved too big a handicap and for most of the
three days when he was either 7th. or 8th. overall.
The decathlon is a two day event. In Doha it took three. The 1,500m took place after midnight
on Friday 4th. October. The other images were all taken during the 2nd. and 3rd.
