Trond Nymark is pictured above about to cross the line in fourth place in the men's 50km Walk
at the 2005 World Championships in Helsinki. His time of 3: 44.04 was a new PB.
Four years later, in Berlin, he won the gold medal in the event with another PB and
National record of 3:41.16. Sergey Kirdyapkin was the first past the finish line in Berlin but
was later disqualified for drugs related offences.
