Poland's Artur Nago is pictured above during the heats of the
men's 110 metres hurdles. In the final he set a new
Polish record of 13.27 beating his previous best of 13.29
set in 2010 in Eugene, U.S.A. He ran 13.49 in his heat
and 13.43 in his semi final in Helsinki.

The race action photo above shows the closing stages of the mens 110m Hurdles final at the
2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. Noga (far right) finished in a creditable 5th. place
in a time of 13.36 secs. Cuba's Dayron Robles (centre) cruised to the gold medal in an
impressive time of 12.93, with the American pair of David Payne (2nd right) and
David Oliver (2nd left) winning silver and bronze respectively.
