Liliana Cá is pictured above at the Zurich Diamond League meeting.
The 34 year old athlete had a five-year break in her athletics career
between 2013 and 2018 to raise her children. In 2003 she won the discus
at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Paris and in 2005 the silver medal
at the European Junior Championships. Sixteen years later her personal best
of 65.40m was set in Leiria in 2021, a Portuguese national record.
