Karsten Warholm and Abderrahman Samba clear the last barrier in the final of the men's
400m hurdles at teh 2017 World Championships. Abderrahman hit his hurdle and lost
momentum, finishing seventh. He had won his semi final in 48.75 seconds so was possibly
looking to win a medal. His 2017 personal best was 48.31.
In 2018 things changed for the better and in June in Paris he became only the second man
to run under 47 seconds for the event, clocking 46.98 at the Diamond League event.
