The pictures above show Tatyana during the final of the womens Pole Vault
at the 2006 European Athletics Championships in Gothenburg. She produced
a seasons best clearance of 4.65m to win the bronze medal, only missing out
on the silver to Poland's Monika Pyrek on the countback rule.
It was Polnova's first medal at a major championship.
