The main photo above shows the closing few metres of the women's 400m final at the 2006
European Championships in Gothenburg. Tatyana (1638) won the silver medal in a time of 50.15
behind Bulgaria's Vanya Stambolova (1069) with another Russian, Olga Zaytseva (1641), taking bronze.
The other athlete in shot is Ilona Usovich who finished in fifth place.
Tatyana then rounded of the week in style by teaming up with Svetlana Pospelova, Natalya Ivanova and
Zaytseva to win gold for Russia in the 4x400m relay.
