Eilish McColgan winning the 10,000m at the Commonwealth Games
in a record time, following a dramatic sprint finish with
Irene Chepet Cheptal. Earlier in the year she had set a Scottish record of
30:19.02, beating the time set by her mother in 1991 - at the same venue,
Hengelo.
Four days later in Birmingham won the silver medal in the 5,000.
2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games.
