Juan is pictured above shortly after qualifying from his heat in the men's
1500m at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. He went on to finish in a
creditable 7th place (later 6th) in the final in a time of 3.34.77.
He won the bronze medal at that year's African Championship (3.43.63)
