Mohamed Katir racing to his third Spanish National record of the season,
on this occasion the men's 3,000 metres. In Monoco he set a time of
3:28.74 for the 1,5000m and in Florence ran the 5,000m in 12:50.79.
Both races were Diamond League events.
Also at Gateshead, in May, he won the Müller Grand Prix/Diamond League
5,000m race in 13:08.52.
