Jak Ali Harvey just fails to win the European 100 metres title in Amsterdam,
clocking the same time as Churandy Martina.
He was formally known as Jacques Montgomery Harvey, before he changed his
allegiance to Turkey. He became the first ever athlete representing Turkey to win a
medal in the 100m at a European Championships.
On June 12th in Erzurum he ran a life time best of 9.92 seconds.
